أعلنت الهيئة العامة للإحصاء عن نتائج نشرة مؤشرات الأعمال قصيرة المدى لشهر مايو 2026، التي أظهرت ارتفاع الرقم القياسي للإيرادات التشغيلية بنسبة 11.4% على أساس سنوي، بدعم من نمو ملحوظ في نشاط التعدين واستغلال المحاجر بنسبة 38.7%، والصناعة التحويلية بنسبة 9.6%، وتجارة الجملة والتجزئة وإصلاح المركبات بنسبة 3.6%، والتشييد بنسبة 2.5%، فضلاً عن الأنشطة المالية والتأمين بنسبة 12.9%.

وتُعد هذه المؤشرات أداة مهمة لقياس أداء الاقتصاد الوطني في الأجل القصير.

وعلى المستوى الشهري، ارتفع المؤشر بنسبة 2.9% مقارنة بأبريل 2026، مدفوعًا بصعود الصناعة التحويلية 0.6%، والتعدين والمحاجر 10.2%، والتجارة 1.3%، والأنشطة المالية والتأمين 1.1%، والمعلومات والاتصالات 1.9%.

في المقابل، هبطت رخص البناء الصادرة في مايو 2026 بنسبة 33.3% سنويًا لتصل إلى 5,056 رخصة، بانخفاض شهري قدره 25.7% عن أبريل الذي بلغ 6,803 رخص.

يُذكر أن منتج إحصاءات الأعمال قصيرة المدى من المنتجات الإحصائية الاقتصادية التي تهدف إلى قياس أداء قطاعات الاقتصاد المختلفة على المدى القصير من خلال مؤشرات شهرية ترصد التطورات ومعدلات النمو لكل نشاط، ويستهدف جميع الأنشطة الاقتصادية في المنشآت العاملة في قطاع الأعمال بالمملكة.

The General Authority for Statistics issued the Short-Term Business Indicators Statistics Bulletin for May 2026, where the index of operating revenues recorded an increase of 11.4% during the same month compared to May 2025, supported by the growth of several economic activities, most notably the mining and quarrying sector, which recorded an increase of 38.7%, and the manufacturing sector, which rose by 9.6%. Additionally, the wholesale and retail trade and vehicle repair activities increased by 3.6%, while construction activities, financial activities, and insurance activities rose by 2.5% and 12.9% respectively.

On a monthly basis, the index of operating revenues recorded an increase of 2.9% compared to April 2026, supported by a 0.6% rise in manufacturing activities, a 10.2% increase in mining and quarrying activities, and a 1.3% increase in wholesale and retail trade and vehicle repair activities, in addition to a 1.1% rise in financial activities and insurance activities, and a 1.9% increase in information and communication activities.

Building permits issued during May 2026 also saw an annual decline of 33.3%, bringing the total to 5,056 permits compared to 7,584 permits in May 2025, while recording a monthly decline of 25.7% compared to April 2026, which had a total of 6,803 permits issued.

It is worth mentioning that the Short-Term Business Statistics product is one of the economic statistical products aimed at measuring the performance of various sectors of the economy in the short term through monthly indicators that monitor developments and growth rates for each activity, targeting all economic activities in establishments operating in the business sector in the Kingdom.

ويظهر التفاوت بين نمو الإيرادات التشغيلية وتراجع رخص البناء انعكاسًا لأداء متباين للقطاعات الاقتصادية، حيث يواصل القطاع الإنتاجي زخمه الإيجابي بينما يشهد القطاع العقاري تباطؤًا. وتأتي هذه البيانات في إطار متابعة مستهدفات التنويع الاقتصادي ضمن رؤية المملكة 2030.
