ظهران الجنوب.. تترقب افتتاح المستشفى الجديد

تستعد محافظة ظهران الجنوب لاستقبال منشأة صحية جديدة طال انتظارها لتلبية احتياجات سكانها.

يترقب أهالي محافظة ظهران الجنوب، التابعة لمنطقة عسير، افتتاح مستشفى ظهران الجنوب العام الجديد، بعد أكثر من 15 عاماً على بدء تنفيذ المشروع، الذي انطلقت أعماله 1432هـ، رغم اكتمال معظم مراحله الإنشائية والتجهيزية.

وأفاد عدد من الأهالي أن المستشفى أصبح جاهزًا للافتتاح، وأوضحوا أن المتبقي هو استكمال خدمة الإنترنت التي أنجز منها نحو 70%، بجانب إنهاء تجهيز بعض الأقسام التشغيلية.

وأبدى سكان المحافظة استغرابهم من تأخر افتتاح المستشفى، رغم تسلمه من قبل تجمع عسير الصحي والانتهاء من إنشاء المبنى بسعة 200 سرير، مطالبين بسرعة تشغيله ونقل الخدمات من المستشفى الحالي، الذي لم يعد يلبي احتياجات المحافظة والمراكز والقرى التابعة لها.

وأفاد كل من سعد الوادعي وصالح حسين الوادعي وعبدالله ال عريعر وفيصل سعد الوادعي أن عدة أقسام في المستشفى تم تجهيزها استعدادًا للتشغيل، بينما لا تزال أقسام أخرى مثل العناية المركزة وغرف العمليات تحتاج إلى استكمال التجهيزات، مما يعد من أبرز أسباب تأخر الافتتاح.

وأشاروا إلى أن المستشفى يخدم أكثر من 65 ألف نسمة في محافظة ظهران الجنوب والمراكز والقرى التابعة لها، مؤكدين الحاجة إلى افتتاحه في أقرب وقت لتلبية الطلب المتزايد على الخدمات الصحية.

وطالب الأهالي كذلك باستحداث مركز متخصص للحوادث والطوارئ، نظراً لموقع المحافظة التي تبعد عن مستشفى عسير المركزي 170 كيلو متراً، وتبعد عن مستشفى الملك خالد بمنطقة نجران 130 كيلو متراً، وهما الجهتان اللتان تستقبلان الحالات الحرجة والمحولة من مستشفى ظهران الجنوب.

كما دعوا إلى دعم المستشفى الجديد بالكوادر الطبية والتمريضية المتخصصة، بما يضمن تقديم الخدمات الصحية بكفاءة فور بدء تشغيله.

The residents of Dhahran Al-Janoub Governorate, which is part of the Asir region, are eagerly awaiting the opening of the new Dhahran Al-Janoub General Hospital, after more than 15 years since the project commenced in 1432 AH, despite the completion of most of its construction and preparation phases.

Several residents confirmed that the hospital is ready for opening, noting that what remains is the completion of internet service, which is about 70% complete, in addition to finishing the setup of some operational departments.

The residents expressed their astonishment at the delay in opening the hospital, despite its handover to the Asir Health Cluster and the completion of the building, which has a capacity of 200 beds. They are calling for its swift operation and the transfer of services from the current hospital, which no longer meets the needs of the governorate and the affiliated centers and villages.

Saad Al-Wad'i, Saleh Hussein Al-Wad'i, Abdullah Al-Aryar, and Faisal Saad Al-Wad'i explained that many departments of the hospital have been prepared for operation, while other departments, including the intensive care unit and operating rooms, still require completion, which is one of the main reasons for the delay in opening.

They pointed out that the hospital serves more than 65,000 people in Dhahran Al-Janoub Governorate and the affiliated centers and villages, emphasizing the need for its opening as soon as possible to meet the increasing demand for health services.

The residents also called for the establishment of a specialized center for accidents and emergencies, given the location of the governorate, which is 170 kilometers away from Asir Central Hospital and 130 kilometers from King Khalid Hospital in Najran, both of which receive critical cases referred from Dhahran Al-Janoub Hospital.

They also urged for the new hospital to be supported with specialized medical and nursing staff to ensure the provision of health services efficiently as soon as it begins operations.

ويشير تأخر افتتاح المستشفى رغم اكتمال معظم مراحله إلى تعقيدات إدارية وتشغيلية تواجه المشروعات الصحية في المناطق البعيدة. ومن المتوقع أن يسهم تشغيل المستشفى في تقليل الضغط على مستشفى عسير المركزي ومستشفى الملك خالد في نجران، اللذين يبعدان مسافات طويلة. ويبقى الأهالي في ترقب لإنهاء التجهيزات المتبقية وافتتاح المستشفى في أقرب وقت.
