فيما تُغلق المنصة الوطنية للقبول الموحد «قبول» غدًا (الثلاثاء) مرحلة تأكيد رغبات القبول النهائي للمتقدمين من خريجي الثانوية العامة لحجز مقاعدهم في الجامعات الحكومية والأهلية وكليات التدريب التقني والمهني للعام الجامعي الجديد.. اقترح عدد من أولياء أمور الطلاب والطالبات على وزارة التعليم إتاحة النقل بين الجامعات فور انتهاء مرحلة حجز المقاعد.

وقال عدد منهم لـ«عكاظ» إن إتاحة النقل أسوة بما هو معمول به في حركة النقل الخارجي والداخلي للمعلمين والمعلمات يسهم في الاستقرار الاجتماعي للطلاب وأولياء أمورهم، مشيرين إلى أن إلغاء خاصية المناطق في القبول اضطر العديد من المتقدمين إلى تأكيد رغبات قبولهم في مناطق أو مدن بعيدة عن مقر سكنهم.

وأضافوا أنه بالإمكان وضع أيقونة في المنصة للسماح للمقبولين بالنقل بين الجامعات أو كليات التدريب التقني والمهني بعد انتهاء فترة تأكيد الرغبات في حال توفر نفس التخصص الجامعي دون النظر للدرجات الموزونة، مشيرين إلى أن الهدف هو توفر مقعد جامعي لخريجي الثانوية العامة وهو ما تحقق عند تأكيد الرغبات.

ولفت أولياء الأمور إلى أن هذا الإجراء سيسهم في تحقيق الاستقرار الاجتماعي ويوفر على أولياء الأمور الكثير من الأمور ومن ضمنها توفير سكن أو وسيلة نقل في حال تم قبول أبنائهم وبناتهم في مدن بعيدة.

As the National Unified Admission Platform "Qabul" closes tomorrow (Tuesday) the phase of confirming final admission preferences for applicants from high school graduates to reserve their seats in public and private universities and technical and vocational training colleges for the new academic year.. a number of parents of students have suggested to the Ministry of Education to allow transfers between universities immediately after the seat reservation phase ends.

Several of them told "Okaz" that allowing transfers, similar to what is practiced in the external and internal transfer movements for teachers, contributes to the social stability of students and their parents, noting that the cancellation of the regional preference in admissions forced many applicants to confirm their admission preferences in areas or cities far from their place of residence.

They added that it would be possible to place an icon on the platform to allow accepted students to transfer between universities or technical and vocational training colleges after the preference confirmation period ends, provided that the same university major is available without considering the weighted grades, indicating that the goal is to secure a university seat for high school graduates, which is achieved upon confirming their preferences.

Parents pointed out that this procedure will contribute to achieving social stability and save parents a lot of issues, including providing housing or transportation in case their sons and daughters are accepted in distant cities.
