الجبير يستقبل الأمينة التنفيذية لاتفاقية الأمم المتحدة لمكافحة التصحر

استقبل وزير الدولة للشؤون الخارجية عضو مجلس الوزراء مبعوث شؤون المناخ عادل بن أحمد الجبير، في مقر الوزارة بالرياض، اليوم، الأمينة التنفيذية لاتفاقية الأمم المتحدة لمكافحة التصحر الدكتورة ياسمين فؤاد.

وجرى خلال الاستقبال تبادل وجهات النظر حول المستجدات الدولية المتعلقة بمكافحة التصحر، واستعراض جهود وبرامج المملكة لاستصلاح الأراضي ومكافحة الجفاف والتصحر، وبحث فرص التعاون المستقبلية بين الجانبين.

The Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, a member of the Council of Ministers and Climate Affairs Envoy, Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir, received today at the ministry's headquarters in Riyadh the Executive Secretary of the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification, Dr. Yasmin Fouad.

During the reception, views were exchanged on international developments related to combating desertification, and the Kingdom's efforts and programs for land reclamation and combating drought and desertification were reviewed, along with discussions on future cooperation opportunities between the two sides.
