تمكنت المرحلة الأولى من مشروع «الوصول إلى التعليم في الريف» الذي يشرف عليه البرنامج السعودي لتنمية وإعمار اليمن من تمكين أكثر من 18 ألف فتاة وشابة يمنية في المناطق الريفية النائية من مواصلة تعليمهن، وذلك في إطار الدعم التنموي والإنساني المستمر الذي تقدمه المملكة العربية السعودية لليمن.

يأتي هذا المشروع ضمن جهود البرنامج السعودي لتنمية وإعمار اليمن في دعم قطاع التعليم كأحد الركائز الأساسية للتنمية المستدامة.

نُفذ المشروع بالتعاون مع مؤسسة العون للتنمية، مستهدفاً توفير فرص تعليمية للفتيات في المناطق الأكثر حاجة، وإزالة المعوقات الجغرافية والاقتصادية التي تعيق تعليمهن في الأرياف اليمنية، انطلاقاً من قناعة بأن تمكين المرأة يبدأ من تمكينها تعليمياً.

وقد تضمنت هذه المرحلة تدريب 150 معلمة على أحدث أساليب واستراتيجيات التدريس، وقمن بأدوار قيادية ميدانية لضمان استمرارية تعليم الفتيات في قراهن دون انقطاع.


يُذكر أن هذا المشروع يأتي في سياق المبادرات التنموية الحيوية لـ«البرنامج السعودي لتنمية وإعمار اليمن» الرامية إلى دعم واستقرار القطاعات الأساسية في اليمن، وفي مقدمتها قطاع التعليم، بما يسهم في الحد من التسرب الدراسي ومكافحة الأمية وتأهيل الكوادر البشرية اليمنية.

As part of the ongoing developmental support provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the population in Yemen, and in embodiment of its steadfast humanitarian commitment to empower local communities; the first phase of the "Access to Education in Rural Areas" project, implemented by the Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen, has contributed to enabling and sustaining the education of more than 18,000 young women and girls in continuing their studies in remote rural areas.


The project was implemented in partnership with the Al-Awn Foundation for Development, aiming to provide opportunities for girls to access education in the most needy areas, and to overcome the geographical and economic obstacles that prevent them from continuing their studies in rural Yemen, believing that empowering women begins with providing opportunities for educational enrollment.


This phase witnessed the training and qualification of 150 female teachers on modern teaching skills and strategies, who played a leading role in ensuring the continuity of the educational process for girls within their villages and local areas without interruption.


It is worth noting that this project comes within the context of the vital developmental initiatives of the "Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen," aimed at supporting and stabilizing the essential sectors in Yemen, foremost among them the education sector, contributing to reducing school dropout rates, combating illiteracy, and qualifying the Yemeni human resources.

تسهم هذه المبادرة في الحد من التسرب المدرسي بين الفتيات الريفيات وتعزيز فرصهن في التعليم. كما تعكس التزام المملكة بدعم الاستقرار والتنمية في اليمن عبر مشاريع نوعية تستهدف الفئات الأكثر احتياجاً. ومن المتوقع أن تسهم هذه الجهود في توسيع نطاق التعليم ليشمل مناطق أخرى في المستقبل.
