RIYADH — During a phone call, Egypt's Foreign Minister voiced full solidarity with Saudi Arabia to its counterpart Prince Faisal bin Farhan.

Badr Abdelatty, Egypt's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates, affirmed Egypt's complete backing for the Kingdom's security and territorial integrity after the Houthi missile strikes.

The two ministers also discussed the latest developments in the region and ongoing efforts to address them.

The Houthi attacks, which have repeatedly targeted Saudi cities, pose a persistent threat to regional peace. Egypt's swift reaffirmation of support underscores the depth of the Cairo-Riyadh alliance in confronting such challenges. This development is likely to reinforce joint efforts in countering Houthi aggression.
