Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan conducted separate telephone conversations with his counterparts from Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, and Jordan to address regional developments, de-escalation initiatives, and maritime security in the Strait of Hormuz.

Prince Faisal spoke with Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Omani Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Bahraini Foreign Minister Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, and Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi.

The ministers assessed recent regional developments and reiterated their condemnation of recurrent Iranian actions against nations in the area.

They also rejected any actions that undermine the sovereignty of states or threaten regional security and stability.

The discussions included an exchange of views on ongoing efforts to restore security, reduce regional tensions, and safeguard freedom of navigation through the Strait of Hormuz.

The Strait of Hormuz is a vital waterway for global energy supplies. Iran's repeated attacks have heightened security concerns among Gulf states. The Saudi-led diplomatic push reflects the kingdom's proactive role in addressing regional threats.
