Saudi Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, who also holds the portfolio of industry and mineral resources, met in Riyadh with Indian National Security Adviser Ajit Doval to discuss enhancing bilateral cooperation in the energy sector.

The meeting was attended by Minister of State and National Security Adviser Dr. Musaed Al-Aiban.

They reviewed current energy collaboration and discussed joint efforts to promote global energy security and ensure stable supplies.

Saudi Arabia has long been a key supplier of crude oil to India, and both nations are major players in global energy markets. As they seek to diversify energy sources and ensure supply stability, such high-level discussions are vital. Further collaboration could extend to renewable energy and technology sharing, building on their existing partnership within the G20 and other multilateral forums.
