وسط تأكيدات من وسائل إعلام إيرانية بسماع دوي انفجارات عنيفة في بندر عباس وجزيرة سيريك وولاوان وعدة مناطق في هرمزغان وبوشهر جنوبي إيران، أعلنت القيادة المركزية الأمريكية مساء اليوم (الأربعاء) تنفيذ ضربات إضافية ضد إيران بسبب شنها هجوم على السفن في مضيق هرمز.

وكتبت القيادة المركزية الأمريكية على حسابها في «إكس»: «بأمر من القائد الأعلى، بدأت قوات القيادة المركزية الأمريكية تنفيذ ضربات إضافية ضد إيران لتدهور قدرتهم أكثر على تهديد حرية الملاحة في مضيق هرمز».

وأضافت: الولايات المتحدة تحاسب إيران على العدوان غير المبرر الأخير ضد الشحن التجاري وطواقم السفن المدنية التي كانت تتنقل بحرية في ممر مائي دولي حيوي.

ونقل موقع «أكسيوس» عن مسؤول أمريكي قوله إن الجيش الأمريكي بدأ بشن ضربات ضد أهداف عسكرية إيرانية في مضيق هرمز.

ونقلت وسائل إعلام إسرائيلية عن مصادر قولها إن أمريكا أبلغت إسرائيل أنها ستوجه ضربات قوية لإيران هذه الليلة.

في المقابل، ذكرت وكالة مهر الإيرانية للأنباء دوي انفجار في بندر عباس، وتم تفعيل الدفاعات الجوية في جزيرة سيريك.

وأكد التلفزيون الإيراني سماع دوي ثمانية انفجارات في مدينة بندر عباس جنوبي البلاد، بالتزامن مع تفعيل الدفاعات الجوية، فيما أفادت وكالة الأنباء الإيرانية بانقطاع الكهرباء في أنحاء من مدينة تشابهار عقب دوي انفجارات.

وجاء القصف بعد تهديد الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب ونائبه ووزير دفاعه بتوجيه ضربات قوية لإيران الليلة.

وقال ترمب إنه لم يعد متأكداً من رغبته في إبرام اتفاق مع طهران، مؤكداً أن الولايات المتحدة ستواصل الرد العسكري إذا نفذت إيران أي هجمات جديدة، قائلاً: «كلما ينفذون أي ضربة سنضربهم مجدداً».

وأضاف ترمب «كان لديهم قادة، رحلوا، ثم جاء قادة آخرون، رحلوا أيضاً، والآن لديهم مجموعة جديدة من القادة، وربما يكونون قد رحلوا أيضاً، من يدري؟».

وأشار ترمب إلى أن قواته دمرت أمس الجيش الإيراني وأغرقت 59 سفينة، واصفاً الحرب على إيران بالناجحة.

بدوره، توعد نائب الرئيس الأمريكي جي دي فانس بمواصلة التحرك العسكري ضد إيران إذا لم تتوقف عن إطلاق النار على السفن، مطالباً إيران بالوفاء بالتزاماتها أو سيحدث لها ما حدث الليلة الماضية.

وكانت وسائل إعلام أمريكية قد ذكرت أن الهجمات استهدفت أمس، منصات إطلاق الصواريخ والطائرات المسيّرة ومخازنها وراداراتها.

فيما أقر الجيش الإيراني بمقتل 8 من أفراده في القصف الأمريكي على مضيق هرمز، أمس.

Amid confirmations from Iranian media of hearing loud explosions in Bandar Abbas, Sirik Island, and several areas in Hormozgan and Bushehr in southern Iran, the U.S. Central Command announced this evening (Wednesday) the execution of additional strikes against Iran due to its attack on ships in the Strait of Hormuz.

The U.S. Central Command wrote on its account on "X": "By order of the Commander-in-Chief, U.S. Central Command forces have begun executing additional strikes against Iran to further degrade their ability to threaten freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz."

It added: The United States holds Iran accountable for its recent unprovoked aggression against commercial shipping and civilian ship crews that were freely navigating in a vital international waterway.

Axios reported that a U.S. official stated that the U.S. military has begun launching strikes against Iranian military targets in the Strait of Hormuz.

Israeli media reported that sources said the U.S. informed Israel that it would deliver strong strikes against Iran tonight.

In contrast, the Iranian news agency Mehr reported an explosion in Bandar Abbas, and air defenses were activated on Sirik Island.

The Iranian television confirmed hearing the sound of eight explosions in the city of Bandar Abbas in the south of the country, coinciding with the activation of air defenses, while the Iranian news agency reported a power outage in parts of the city of Chabahar following the explosions.

The bombardment came after threats from U.S. President Donald Trump, his Vice President, and his Secretary of Defense to deliver strong strikes against Iran tonight.

Trump stated that he is no longer sure of his desire to reach an agreement with Tehran, affirming that the United States will continue military responses if Iran carries out any new attacks, saying: "Whenever they execute any strike, we will hit them again."

Trump added, "They had leaders, they left, then other leaders came, they left too, and now they have a new group of leaders, and they might have left as well, who knows?"

Trump indicated that his forces destroyed the Iranian army yesterday and sank 59 ships, describing the war against Iran as successful.

For his part, U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance vowed to continue military action against Iran if it does not stop firing on ships, demanding that Iran fulfill its obligations or it will face what happened last night.

U.S. media had reported that the attacks targeted yesterday missile launch platforms, drones, their storage facilities, and radars.

Meanwhile, the Iranian military acknowledged the death of 8 of its personnel in the U.S. bombardment in the Strait of Hormuz yesterday.
