أصدر وزير الدفاع اليمني الفريق الركن طاهر العقيلي، الخميس، توجيهات إلى الجيش بالحفاظ على أقصى درجات الاستعداد واليقظة، وزيادة التنسيق بين الوحدات والتشكيلات العسكرية لتعزيز الأداء العملياتي ومواجهة التطورات الميدانية.

وتأتي هذه التوجيهات في وقت يشهد فيه اليمن تصعيداً عسكرياً متقطعاً رغم جهود السلام الدولية.

وعقد وزير الدفاع اجتماعاً في محافظة مارب ضم رئيس هيئة الأركان العامة الفريق صغير بن عزيز ورؤساء هيئتي العمليات والإسناد اللوجستي ونواب هيئتي القوى البشرية والاستخبارات وقادة المناطق العسكرية الثالثة والسادسة والسابعة، بحضور ممثلين عن تحالف دعم الشرعية، لبحث تطورات الوضع العسكري وآليات تعزيز التنسيق بين الوحدات.

في الأثناء، قُتل 23 مسلحاً حوثياً و4 جنود يمنيين في اشتباكات نشبت مساء الخميس بين الجيش اليمني ومسلحي الحوثي خلال محاولتهم التسلل في جبهتي الفاخر والجب بمحافظة الضالع.

وأفاد المركز الإعلامي لجبهة الضالع بأن الاشتباكات اندلعت بعد محاولة عناصر المليشيا التسلل، مؤكداً مقتل 23 حوثياً بينهم قياديون ميدانيون وأسر 7 آخرين، إضافة إلى مقتل 4 جنود وإصابة 10.


وأكد المركز دعم السلطات اليمنية للجبهة بتعزيزات كبيرة للجبهتين.


وكانت المليشيا الحوثية الإرهابية شنت، أمس، قصفاً عشوائياً عنيفاً على القرى السكنية في مديرية قعطبة بمحافظة الضالع مما أسفر عن إصابة مواطن، أثناء عمله في سوق الزبيرات في قرية شخب غرب مديرية قعطبة.


وقصفت مليشيا الحوثي بقذائف الهاون سوق الزبيرات وقرية شخب وعدداً من القرى المجاورة والمزارع غرب مديرية قعطبة، ما أثار حالة من الخوف والهلع في أوساط السكان.

Meanwhile, 23 Houthi militants and 4 Yemeni soldiers were killed in military confrontations that erupted last night (Thursday) between the Yemeni army and Houthi militants who attempted to infiltrate the fronts of Al-Fakher and Al-Jab in Al-Dhale'e province in central Yemen.


The media center for the Al-Dhale'e front confirmed that confrontations erupted with the Houthis on the fronts of Al-Fakher and Al-Jab in the province following an attempt by elements of the terrorist militia to infiltrate, confirming the death of 23 Houthi militants, including field leaders among the infiltrators, and the capture of 7 others, in addition to the death of 4 soldiers and the injury of 10 others.
