Our mission

Ajel ("عاجل", Arabic for "breaking") is an Arabic-first news platform built to deliver fast, verified breaking news to readers in Saudi Arabia and across the Arab world. We believe speed should never come at the cost of accuracy, so we built a system that combines technology with human editing to bring you news you can trust — quickly — through news-ajel.com and our mobile apps.

How we work

Trusted sources only: we work from a whitelist of reputable news sources — including the Saudi Press Agency (SPA/WAS), Okaz, Al Riyadh, Sabq, and others — and never aggregate from unknown outlets.
Verification before "breaking": stories pass through deduplication and cross-source verification before they can carry the "breaking" label, so the label is reserved for news that truly earns it.
Human editorial review: an editorial team oversees the content and reviews headlines and published material; we do not rely on automated aggregation alone.
A clear corrections policy: if you spot an error in any article, email us at [email protected] and we will fix it promptly, noting the correction where appropriate.
Attribution, always: every aggregated story is published with its source's name and a link back to the original material, out of respect for publishers' rights.
