Egyptian stock market indices closed higher today.

The market capitalization of listed companies gained about 28 billion pounds by the end of trading, reaching 3.865 trillion pounds, with total trading volume of about 78.8 billion pounds, including bond, treasury bill, and ownership transfer transactions, while stock market trading amounted to about 12 billion pounds.

The main index of the Egyptian Stock Exchange (EGX 30) rose by 0.50% to reach 52,558.39 points. The small and medium-cap index (EGX 70) increased by 1.42% to 16,790.88 points, and the broader EGX 100 index rose by 1.12% to 22,607.88 points.
