Presentation of Executive Regulations for Non-Saudi Ownership of Real Estate

The Madinah Chamber, represented by the Real Estate Development Committee, organized a workshop two days ago in cooperation with the Ministry of Investment and the General Authority for Real Estate, titled 'Executive Regulations for Non-Saudi Ownership of Real Estate and Geographical Zones,' as part of the sectoral committees' initiatives aimed at serving business sectors and enhancing awareness of the regulations governing the real estate sector.

Participants in the workshop included Omar Al-Mousa, Executive Director of Non-Saudi Ownership at the General Authority for Real Estate; Abdullah Al-Shammari, General Director of the Real Estate Sector at the Ministry of Investment; and Waleed Al-Ghanim, General Director of Investment Licenses at the Ministry of Investment. They reviewed the key provisions of the executive regulations and the geographical zones related to non-Saudi ownership of real estate, in addition to answering participants' inquiries. The workshop aimed to explain the articles of the executive regulations and the geographical zones regulating non-Saudi ownership of real estate, showcase development and real estate investment opportunities, and clarify the ownership journey for non-Saudis, thereby raising awareness of relevant systems and procedures, supporting the real estate investment environment, and enhancing the utilization of available opportunities in the sector.
