Global oil prices jumped more than 5% on Wednesday after US President Donald Trump announced the end of the ceasefire with Iran, following new strikes in the Middle East.
Brent crude, the international benchmark, rose 5.3% to $78.09 per barrel, while West Texas Intermediate (WTI), the US benchmark, climbed 5.4% to $74.23 per barrel.
