A report from ASK Real Estate showed that Bahrain's real estate sector began 2026 with strong performance, with Q1 recording the largest quarterly transaction volume since 2022, reaching 6,418 deals, a 29% increase compared to the same period last year. The company attributed this growth to momentum, economic stability, and market maturity.
ASK Real Estate stated that Bahrain's real estate sector started 2026 with strong and sustainable performance in Q1, achieving positive growth indicators reflecting economic resilience and investor confidence.
The company added in its latest quarterly report that the real estate sector achieved unprecedented growth in transaction volume at the start of this year, driven by the momentum and economic stability that the kingdom recorded at the end of last year.
The report stated that total real estate transactions in Q1 of this year reached 6,418, a 29% increase compared to the same period last year, confirming the sector's broad recovery and resurgence. This is the largest quarterly performance recorded since 2022.
The company said that this year has introduced many new real estate schemes, coinciding with stability in rental prices and occupancy in both office and commercial spaces, indicating a real balance between supply and demand and continued market maturity. This is a positive signal to investors about the sustainability of stable returns on their investments in this sector.
Commenting on this, Mr. Karim Yazji, CEO of ASK Real Estate, said: "The Gulf region as a whole has faced unprecedented pressures and challenges in recent months due to regional political developments and their repercussions, but Bahrain has shown remarkable resilience in the face of these challenges. The kingdom managed to overcome these shocks and continue its economic growth, thanks to investor confidence and the strong foundations on which the economy is built."
Yazji added: "The analytical figures for the real estate sector have clearly demonstrated this economic stability. The kingdom has capitalized on the momentum from late 2025, leveraging the strong regulatory environment and significant investor confidence in the economy to continue on its path of growth and prosperity."
Yazji emphasized that the high level of confidence investors have in Bahrain is not a recent phenomenon, but rather the result of a robust economy built on strong and sustainable foundations over the years. Various economic sectors are expected to achieve further growth in the coming period due to this confidence and stability.
