Sakaka, Muharram 14, 1448 AH, corresponding to June 29, 2026 AD, SPA — Al Jouf region has strengthened its position as one of the most prominent agricultural regions in the Kingdom in grape production, benefiting from its natural endowments including fertile soil and suitable climate, which has contributed to improving crop quality and variety, making the region a leading destination for seasonal fruit production. The grape farms in Al Jouf include about five million trees, spread over an estimated area of 4,500 hectares, while annual production exceeds 140,000 tons, an indicator reflecting the development witnessed in the region's agricultural sector and the increased production efficiency that meets the needs of local markets. The region is known for producing various grape varieties, including Superior, Romani, Halwani, Zaiti, Magic Black, French, Shami, and Banati. These varieties are distinguished by their high quality and varying ripening times, which helps extend the harvest season and provide the product for longer periods.
