Economy / Eastern Region Governor Reviews Achievements of Hafar Al-Batin Chamber and Its Initiatives to Support Business Sector in the Governorate
Dammam, 28 Muharram 1448 AH, corresponding to July 13, 2026, SPA - His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Region, reviewed the achievements of the Hafar Al-Batin Chamber and its initiatives to support the business sector in the governorate, during his reception today at the emirate headquarters of the Chairman of the Chamber's Board of Directors, Salman bin Hassan Al-Aqil, accompanied by board members. His Highness the Governor of the Eastern Region praised the vital role played by commercial chambers in supporting economic development, enhancing the business environment, and enabling the private sector to contribute to achieving sustainable development, stressing the importance of developing qualitative initiatives and investing in the capabilities of the governorates to attract investments, create development opportunities, and raise competitiveness, in line with the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
For his part, Al-Aqil presented to His Highness the Governor of the Eastern Region an overview of the chamber's most prominent achievements, programs and initiatives implemented to support the business sector, its efforts in enhancing the investment environment, empowering entrepreneurs and small and medium enterprises, and its future plans aimed at developing and enhancing investment opportunities in Hafar Al-Batin Governorate.
Al-Aqil expressed gratitude to His Highness the Governor of the Eastern Region for the support and attention the chamber receives, affirming that it will continue its efforts in launching initiatives and investment projects, enhancing the investment environment in Hafar Al-Batin Governorate, and attracting promising investment opportunities to support economic development and keep pace with the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030. // End // 13:05 T M 0055
