Minister of Tourism and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Tourism Development Fund, Mr. Ahmed bin Aqeel Al-Khatib, visited 'The Point' project, one of the projects enabled by the Tourism Development Fund, and it is the first and largest multi-use project in the Asir Region. During the visit, His Excellency was briefed on the progress of work on the project, which has a total investment value of 1.125 billion riyals, and is being developed and operated by Rasam Al-Mutatawirah Property Management Company on an area of 75,000 square meters.

His Excellency affirmed that the Asir Region possesses exceptional natural, cultural, and tourism potentials that make it one of the most promising destinations in the Kingdom, pointing out that qualitative tourism projects contribute to achieving the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 and enhancing Asir's position on the Kingdom's tourism map.

Mr. Al-Khatib said: 'The Point project represents a model for qualitative tourism projects that contribute to developing tourism destinations and enhancing the quality of experiences offered to visitors, supporting the objectives of the National Tourism Strategy and stimulating qualitative investments in the region.'

For his part, the CEO of the Tourism Development Fund, Qusai bin Abdullah Al-Fakhri, said: 'The Point project embodies the Fund's role in enabling qualitative tourism investments and stimulating private sector participation, contributing to diversifying tourism experiences and enhancing sustainable economic growth in the Asir Region.'

The Point project includes 250 hotel keys operated by the international brands 'Canopy by Hilton' and 'Hilton Residences', making it the first project to carry the Hilton brand in the Asir Region, enhancing the region's status as a promising tourism and investment destination and elevating the hospitality experiences offered to visitors.
