Electrical Industries receives 26.1 million riyals from the Competition Authority after cancellation of fine on two subsidiaries

Electrical Industries Company announced that it received on July 14, 2026, the fine amount of 26.1 million riyals from the General Authority for Competition, after the final ruling cancelling the authority's fine against two subsidiaries. The company said in a statement on Tadawul that there will be a positive impact on its financial results for 2026, by the same amount.

According to data available on Argaam, Electrical Industries Company had announced in July 2025 that the Administrative Court of Appeal issued a final ruling upholding the administrative court's ruling annulling the two decisions of the Committee for Adjudication of Competition System Violations issued against two subsidiaries of the company related to the fine. The company had announced in July 2024 that it received the decision of the Committee for Adjudication of Competition System Violations imposing a penalty on two subsidiaries, a fine of 26.1 million riyals, for the possible violation of the competition system by the two companies.
