The competent authorities have allowed the installment of financial fines owed to the state and imposed on private and non-profit sector establishments, as an exception to some provisions of the State Revenues System and its executive regulations, according to controls approved by the Minister of Finance.

Under the decision, establishments will be able to submit a request to installment the fine to the authority that imposed it, provided that the authority studies the request and forwards it to the Ministry of Finance within 10 days, and the Ministry of Finance will decide on it within 14 days from the date of receipt, according to the approved rules.

The decision takes effect within 14 days starting from tomorrow (Saturday), and ends on January 1, 2027, or until the enactment of the draft State Revenues System and its executive regulations, whichever is earlier.

The decision directed the Saudi Authority for Data and Artificial Intelligence and the National Center for Government Resource Systems, in coordination with the Ministry of Finance, to automate requests for installment of debts owed to the state through national platforms within 45 days from its issuance.
