Gold prices decline as dollar and US bond yields rise
Gold prices fell during Monday's trading, amid a rise in the US dollar and Treasury bond yields, while investors continued to assess the outlook for US monetary policy and its implications for markets. Spot gold prices dropped 0.2% to $4,007.91 per ounce, and US gold futures for August delivery declined 0.1% to $4,015.90 per ounce.
