The International Monetary Fund has once again lowered its forecasts for global economic growth, noting that developments in artificial intelligence will partially mitigate the repercussions of the war in the Middle East.

According to an update to the IMF's World Economic Outlook report, economies will generally see an average growth rate of 3% this year, 0.1 percentage points lower than the forecasts issued in April.
