Today, His Excellency the Minister of Economy and Planning, Mr. Faisal bin Fadel Al-Ibrahim, held a meeting with his Pakistani counterpart, Minister of Planning, Development and Special Initiatives, Professor Ahsan Iqbal, with the aim of enhancing effective partnerships in the fields of development and planning.

The two sides discussed common sustainable development priorities and exchanged views on progress made towards achieving the goals of Agenda 2030, on the sidelines of the 2026 High-Level Political Forum held in New York City.

These discussions affirm the two countries' commitment to sustainable development goals under the Kingdom's Vision 2030 and Pakistan's development strategies. The partnership is expected to yield concrete initiatives in planning and development, especially with a focus on achieving Agenda 2030.
