Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef met today with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney on the sidelines of his official visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The meeting reviewed opportunities to enhance industrial and mining cooperation between the two countries, expand investment partnerships, and discussed ways to develop cooperation in advanced industries to achieve mutual interests.

Both sides praised the high-quality investments of Canadian companies in mining exploration projects in the Kingdom and their prominent presence in the Saudi mining sector, expressing their aspiration to expand the horizons of the strategic partnership in the mining and minerals sector, supporting the economic development goals of both countries.
