Minister of Tourism Ahmed Al-Khatib announced the launch of the trial service for the tourist package visa, which comes as an extension of efforts to develop the visitor's journey and facilitate their arrival to the Kingdom, and a new step towards a more integrated and seamless travel experience for visitors from around the world. He added via platform X that the tourism ecosystem will continue to develop the visitor experience to the Kingdom through an integrated system of initiatives and services that have contributed to facilitating access and enriching the tourist journey, enhancing its position as a leading global destination. It is noteworthy that the tourist package visa allows tourists to obtain a tourist visa within an approved tourist package that is booked through one of the participating travel and tourism agencies. The package includes flight tickets, accommodation in a licensed tourist hospitality facility, and the issuance of an electronic visa within one integrated booking experience.
