'Monsha'at' Attracts 12,697 Beneficiaries from 'Business Weeks' Initiative in H1
The 'Business Weeks' initiative, organized by the Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority (Monsha'at), attracted over 12,697 beneficiaries in the first half of this year, with the participation of 240 entities from the government, private, and non-profit sectors, including 73 exhibitors. It also organized 31 main sessions and 218 entrepreneurial meetings, reflecting the initiative's expanding scope and its role in connecting entrepreneurs and SME owners with legislative and enabling bodies, services, and investment opportunities in promising sectors.
These results reflect the growing role of specialized sectoral initiatives in bringing together service and program providers with beneficiaries within a single ecosystem, enhancing access to enablers and opportunities according to each sector's needs.
The 'Business Weeks' initiative stands out as one of Monsha'at's initiatives that bring together government, private, and non-profit entities with entrepreneurs and SME owners through weeks, each focusing on a specific sector, allowing them to identify investment opportunities and services, and build partnerships.
The initiative builds an integrated ecosystem of dialogue sessions, entrepreneurial meetings, workshops, consultations, and guidance, in addition to hosting decision-makers and senior officials in direct dialogues with entrepreneurs and SME owners to introduce investment opportunities, listen to their challenges, and work with relevant entities to address them, with the participation of government, private, and non-profit entities, enabling beneficiaries to identify investment opportunities, services, programs, and supporting solutions in targeted sectors.
Participating entities are given space to showcase their services and initiatives, communicate directly with target groups, interact with entrepreneurs and SME owners, and build partnerships, through business support centers in Riyadh, Jeddah, Al Khobar, and Medina, in addition to virtual events.
In the first half of 2026, 'Business Weeks' focused on four main sectors: sports, innovation, finance, and social entrepreneurship, showcasing investment opportunities in those sectors, along with financing solutions, credit guarantees, modern technologies, digital transformation, and business models with social impact, in partnership with relevant government, private, and non-profit entities for each sector.
The 'Business Weeks' activities continue in the second half of this year. The 'Real Estate and Contracting Week', held in July, saw the participation of more than 40 entities from the government and private sectors, with over 3,000 beneficiaries benefiting from its activities. The initiative continues in the coming period with specialized weeks covering education, law, health, industry, artificial intelligence, and exports, enhancing continuous coverage of promising sectors and connecting entrepreneurs and SME owners with investment opportunities, services, and enabling entities.
The results of the first half of the year confirm the initiative's continuity in establishing a model that brings together enabling entities, entrepreneurs, and SME owners within one ecosystem, enhancing the utilization of services and programs, expanding partnership opportunities, and supporting the growth and sustainability of enterprises, in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
