The Global Investment Summit in Paris 2026 places the water sector and circular economy among the growth paths linked to sustainability and quality of life, with expectations that the volume of domestic investment in the sector will rise from $26.8 billion in 2023 to $43.1 billion by 2030.

This expected growth of about 61% reflects the increasing importance of solutions related to resource efficiency, recycling, waste reduction, and water infrastructure development, making the sector one of the investment paths directly linked to the future of cities and sustainable development.

These indicators come within the map of sectors monitored by the summit until 2030, alongside the energy sector, technology and artificial intelligence, real estate and urban development, tourism and hospitality, the financial sector, and advanced industries, which enhances the diversity of opportunities for investors and decision-makers.

The summit seeks to link investment in water and the circular economy with global transformations in sustainability, especially with the growing need for projects that contribute to raising resource efficiency, improving quality of life, and supporting cities capable of growing while preserving the environment.

The summit aims to direct 25% of investments towards modern technologies, and adopt ESG sustainability standards in 55% of targeted projects, supporting the development of more efficient and sustainable solutions and projects, and enhancing the sector's ability to attract long-term capital.

Summit data indicates expected European investment flows to the Gulf Cooperation Council countries worth $28.59 billion, in addition to targets that include developing 15 joint projects and building 8 strategic partnerships during the first year, opening the door to qualitative partnerships in sectors with economic and environmental impact.

The summit attracts more than 2,000 participants and 100 speakers, through a program that includes 10 main sessions, 16 workshops, and more than 40 bilateral meetings, in a framework that enhances Paris's presence as an international hub bringing together capital with investment opportunities in future growth sectors.
