The Saudi Stock Exchange's main index, TASI, closed Thursday's trading down 0.4% at 10,808 points, with trading volume reaching 4 billion riyals.

According to the Saudi Tadawul website, the number of shares traded amounted to about 181.9 million shares, with a market value of about 9.6 trillion riyals.

Shares of 153 companies declined

Shares of 153 companies fell at the end of today's trading, while 91 rose, out of 270 companies listed on the main market.

The parallel market index, Nomu, closed today up 0.6% at 22,731 points, with trading volume of 14.7 million riyals. The number of shares traded was about 2.5 million shares, while the market value was about 39.17 billion riyals. Shares of 35 companies rose at the end of today's trading, while 31 declined, out of 126 companies listed on the parallel market.
