Explanation

Reason for increase (decrease) in sales/revenues during the current quarter compared to the same quarter last year

Mobily continued to achieve revenue growth in Q2 FY2026, reaching SAR 5,080 million compared to SAR 4,828 million in the same quarter last year, an increase of 5.2%, primarily due to revenue growth across all business segments and an increase in the customer base.

Reason for increase (decrease) in net profit during the current quarter compared to the same quarter last year

Mobily achieved a net profit of SAR 901 million for Q2 FY2026, compared to SAR 830 million in the same quarter last year, an increase of 8.6%, mainly due to the following:

Gross Profit:

Due to revenue growth, gross profit increased by 8.5% to SAR 2,845 million in Q2 FY2026 compared to SAR 2,623 million in the same quarter last year.

EBITDA:

EBITDA increased to SAR 1,963 million in Q2 FY2026 compared to SAR 1,823 million in the same quarter last year, an increase of 7.7%, due to revenue growth.

EBITDA margin also rose to 38.6% in Q2 FY2026 from 37.8% in the same quarter last year.

Operating Profit:

Operating profit increased by 9.8% to SAR 978 million in Q2 FY2026 from SAR 891 million in the same quarter last year, due to growth in EBITDA.

Net Other Income and Expenses:

Net other expenses increased to SAR 54.3 million in Q2 FY2026 from SAR 38.7 million in the same quarter last year, due to a decrease in the company's share of profits from a joint venture.

Zakat and Income Tax:

Zakat and income tax expense remained stable at SAR 23 million in Q2 FY2026 compared to SAR 23 million in the same quarter last year.

Mobily achieved revenue growth in Q2 FY2026, reaching SAR 5,080 million compared to SAR 5,040 million in the previous quarter, an increase of 0.8%, mainly due to revenue growth in the consumer and carrier & operator segments.

Mobily recorded a net profit of SAR 901 million in Q2 FY2026 compared to SAR 880 million in the previous quarter, an increase of 2.4%, mainly due to the following:

Gross Profit:

Mobily achieved a 0.7% increase in gross profit to SAR 2,845 million in Q2 FY2026 compared to SAR 2,824 million in the previous quarter, mainly due to revenue growth.

EBITDA:

EBITDA decreased by 0.4% to SAR 1,963 million in Q2 FY2026 compared to SAR 1,971 million in Q1 FY2026.

EBITDA margin was 38.6% in Q2 FY2026 compared to 39.1% in the previous quarter.

Operating Profit:

Operating profit was SAR 978 million in Q2 FY2026 compared to SAR 988 million in the previous quarter, a decrease of 1.0%, due to the decrease in EBITDA.

Net Other Income and Expenses:

Net other expenses decreased to SAR 54.3 million in Q2 FY2026 from SAR 83.0 million in the previous quarter, supported by an increase in other income.

Zakat and Income Tax:

Zakat and income tax expense was SAR 23 million in Q2 FY2026 compared to SAR 25 million in the previous quarter.

Mobily increased its revenues by 5.3% to SAR 10,120 million for the current period ended June 30, 2026, compared to SAR 9,606 million in the same period last year, primarily due to revenue growth across all business segments, supported by an increase in the customer base.

Reason for increase (decrease) in net profit during the current period compared to the same period last year

Mobily achieved an 11.5% increase in net profit for the current period to SAR 1,781 million compared to SAR 1,597 million in the same period last year, mainly due to the following:

Gross Profit:

Gross profit for the current period increased to SAR 5,669 million compared to SAR 5,177 million in the same period last year, an increase of 9.5%, mainly due to revenue growth.
