Qatar Stock Exchange index closes trading higher

Doha, July 06 (QNA) - The Qatar Stock Exchange index closed trading today higher by 20.94 points, or 0.20 percent, reaching 10,267.16 points.

During the session, 110,605,872 shares were traded, valued at 293,030,293.811 Qatari riyals, through 16,713 transactions across all sectors.

Shares of 23 companies rose, while shares of 24 others declined, and 6 companies maintained their previous closing prices.

Market capitalization at the end of the trading session amounted to 619,431,615,184.046 riyals, compared to 619,016,408,774.802 riyals in the previous session.
