The Saudi Chambers Federation hosted today at its headquarters in Riyadh the Saudi-Kenyan roundtable, organized by the Saudi-Kenyan Business Council, with the participation of His Excellency the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora Affairs of the Republic of Kenya Dr. Musalia Mudavadi, and a number of officials and representatives of government entities and the private sector from both countries; to discuss investment opportunities and enhance economic and trade cooperation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Kenya.

The roundtable witnessed a review of promising investment opportunities, and discussion of the foundations of cooperation between the two countries in a number of economic sectors, in addition to discussing ways to expand partnerships between the business communities, and enhance direct communication between investors, to support the growth of trade and investment exchange.

The program included presentations by the Ministry of Economy and Planning, the Saudi Export Development Authority, the Saudi Export-Import Bank, and Kenyan investment authorities, in addition to an open discussion session and bilateral meetings between Saudi and Kenyan companies; to explore cooperation opportunities and build investment partnerships.

The Saudi-Kenyan Business Council plays an active role in enhancing economic relations between the Kingdom and the Republic of Kenya, by linking business communities, facilitating communication between investors, exploring investment and trade opportunities, and supporting the establishment of qualitative partnerships that contribute to the development of trade and investment exchange between the two countries. The organization of this meeting comes within the framework of the efforts of the Saudi Chambers Federation, and through the active role of the Saudi-Kenyan Business Council, to strengthen international economic relations, and enable the private sector in both countries to build sustainable partnerships, in line with the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
