Saudi Dates as Guest of Honor at 'Fancy Food' International Exhibition in America
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by Saudi dates, was chosen as the guest of honor for the Summer Fancy Food Show, a step that reflects the status of Saudi dates in global markets.
During its participation in the exhibition, the National Center for Palms and Dates showcases the quality and diversity of Saudi dates and their processed products, with the participation of 13 Saudi companies specialized in the date sector, contributing to enhancing the global presence of Saudi products and supporting their competitiveness in the U.S. market.
Summer Fancy Food Show
The International Dates Council participates in the 68th edition of the international specialty food exhibition 'Fancy Food' (Summer Fancy Food Show 2026).
It will be held at the Javits Center in New York City, USA, from June 28 to 30, coinciding with the 2026 FIFA World Cup competitions.
The exhibition witnesses the participation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as the 'Guest of Honor' of the event, which is the largest of its kind in North America, where the council participates with a dedicated pavilion bearing the slogan 'A Future for Dates: A Global Partnership'.
The 'Fancy Food' exhibition spans an area exceeding 100,000 square meters, attracting more than 2,400 exhibitors from 50 countries.
While it is expected to attract this year more than 30,000 visitors from specialists and buyers in the global food sector, providing a strategic platform to build bridges of cooperation and establish close ties with the international business community.
Her Highness Princess Sara bint Bandar bin Abdulaziz, CEO of the International Dates Council, emphasized that the presence in this global forum translates the council's vision to open new strategic horizons for the date sector on the international map, and formulate innovative and qualitative partnerships that consolidate the economic value of member states and ensure the sustainability of this vital sector.
