Saudi Stock Market Index Closes Higher at 10,775 Points
The main Saudi stock market index closed higher today by (76.65) points, reaching (10,775.46) points, with trading value of (3.7) billion riyals.
The volume of traded shares reached -according to the daily economic bulletin of the Saudi Press Agency for the Saudi stock market- (167) million shares, with shares of (160) companies rising in value, and shares of (93) companies declining. The shares of companies Raaoum, Al-Mamlaka, Raya, Al-Dawaia, and Al-Jazira were the highest risers, while shares of companies Eastern Pipes, Al-Asmak, Mutakamila, Intaj, and Al-Kharif were the most declining in trading, with rise and decline rates ranging between (9.72%) and (9.96%). The shares of companies Americana, Petro Rabigh, Al-Jazira, Al-Ahli, and Saudi Aramco were the most active by volume, while shares of companies Al-Rajhi, Al-Ahli, Saudi Aramco, Eastern Pipes, and Al-Inma were the most active by value.
The parallel Saudi stock market index (Nomu) closed lower today by (157.25) points, reaching (22,030.43) points, with trading value of (6.6) million riyals, and the volume of traded shares reached more than (1.2) million shares.
