Saudi Stock Market Index Closes Lower at 10,716 Points
The Saudi main stock index closed today lower by (3.46) points, reaching (10,716.82) points, with trading value of (2.3) billion riyals. The volume of traded shares, according to the daily economic bulletin of the Saudi Press Agency for the Saudi Stock Market, amounted to (130) million shares, with shares of (65) companies rising and shares of (190) companies declining. The shares of Madinah Knowledge, Enaya, AMAK, Al-Etihad, and Saleh Al-Rashed were the top gainers, while shares of Rasen, Samasco, Thimar, Maharah, and Saudi Reinsurance were the top losers, with gain and loss rates ranging between (9.99%) and (3.60%). Shares of Petro Rabigh, Americana, Saudi Aramco, Madinah Knowledge, and Maharah were the most active by volume, while shares of Petro Rabigh, Al-Rajhi, Saudi Aramco, Bahri, and Red Sea were the most active by value. The Saudi Parallel Market Index (Nomu) closed today lower by (82.98) points, reaching (22,156.33) points, with trading value of (13) million riyals, and the volume of traded shares exceeded (1.7) million shares.
