Taiba Investments Company announced on Sunday that it has been issued a SAR 6.6 million invoice for white land fees.

The white land fee targets undeveloped land in Saudi Arabia to encourage housing development.

In a filing on Tadawul, the firm stated it will handle the issue in line with regulatory requirements and is currently assessing options to optimize the land's value for shareholders.

Taiba noted that the fee's financial impact will be recorded according to applicable accounting rules.

This invoice is part of Saudi Arabia's White Land Fee program, introduced to curb land speculation and increase housing supply. The program imposes annual fees on undeveloped land in certain areas. Taiba Investments, which operates in the hospitality and real estate sectors, must now decide how to develop or dispose of the land. The financial impact will be reflected in upcoming financial statements. Investors will watch for further disclosures on the land's optimal use.
