Ahmed Shalaby, CEO and Managing Director of Tatweer Misr, said that his company will be ready for listing on the Egyptian stock exchange next year.

Shalaby added during a press conference on Wednesday that the company has been working for more than two and a half years to enhance the governance system, alongside implementing a strategy to diversify financing tools, as part of preparations for a potential stock exchange listing.

He explained that the company is expected to conclude this year by achieving three consecutive years of profitability, which enhances its readiness for this step, as one of the conditions of the listing and offering rules on the Egyptian stock exchange.

Shalaby revealed to Al Arabiya Business that the company has almost finalized the selection of the offering advisor, but he refrained from disclosing the name for now.

He pointed out that the company achieved strong financial results in the past years, and with the completion of 2026 results, it will be institutionally and financially ready to make the listing decision at the appropriate time.

"Tatweer Misr" on Wednesday launched a new phase of the "Salt" project on the North Coast under the name "Marina Salt" with investments of up to 30 billion Egyptian pounds, according to Shalaby.

Shalaby estimated Tatweer Misr's total investments in the "SALT" project at about 70 billion pounds, and said the project is being implemented on an area of approximately 300 acres, comprising about 6,000 residential and tourist units, in addition to a hotel and marina.

Shalaby revealed that Tatweer Misr aims to achieve total sales of about 100 billion pounds from the new project, which is targeted to be fully completed by 2034.

The marina phase includes about 2,600 units, varying between residential and hotel uses, and Tatweer Misr aims to achieve sales returns of about 40 billion pounds from it during the current and next year.
