She noted that the current question is whether this sector has entered its second phase, which may see more mergers and consolidation among the companies operating in it.

She added that these companies achieved high revenues and great success in the early stages of their launch, but today they face challenges similar to those faced by other companies, including rising operational costs and general expenses.

She pointed out that consumer spending patterns are also undergoing some changes, as the question is often raised about the consumer's willingness to continue spending on services and meals that may not be considered basic needs, which puts additional pressure on this type of company.

She added that there are several questions regarding the deal, including whether the offered price is appropriate, whether the deal will gain regulatory approval, as well as the more important question of whether it represents the beginning of a new phase in this economic system based on apps and digital services.
