The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority stated that anyone engaged in economic activity is required to register in the value-added tax system if annual revenues reach the mandatory threshold of 375,000 riyals.

The Zakat and Customs Authority, via its page on the 'X' platform, pointed out that establishments with revenues exceeding 187,500 Saudi riyals but not exceeding 375,000 Saudi riyals are eligible for voluntary registration, while establishments with annual revenues less than 187,500 riyals are not eligible for registration in value-added tax.

It explained that if registration in value-added tax is done with annual revenue less than 187,500 riyals, a (Notice of Acceptance of Registration for Value-Added Tax - Non-Subject) will be issued to the establishment via your account in the correspondence icon.
