With over 400 products, China dominates more than half of the global robot market

China has taken the lead in humanoid robotics after developing more than 400 complete products of this type, accounting for more than half of all robots developed worldwide, according to data released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China.

The data showed that this achievement reflects China's rapid expansion in the robotics sector, which is one of the most prominent fields related to artificial intelligence and advanced manufacturing.

It pointed out that quadruped robots developed by Chinese companies captured about 70% of global sales in the first half of 2026, further strengthening China's position in the global robotics market. This growth comes as part of China's ongoing investments in AI and robotics technologies, with a focus on developing advanced industrial and service applications that support digital transformation and enhance the competitiveness of the country's technology sector.
