A shock shook the Egyptian artistic community with the passing of young artist Ahmed Jalal Abdel Qawy in the early hours of Sunday morning, as the deceased died at the age of 42 after a battle with cancer, which he had recently announced he was diagnosed with.

His official Facebook page asked his fans, friends, and followers to pray for him after his death.

Ahmed Jalal Abdel Qawy, who became famous for his starring role in the series "Mr. Defendant, My Father" years ago with the late artist Nour El-Sherif, felt happy days before his departure after sensing the love from his followers.

This is what he posted on his Facebook account, thanking everyone who contacted him and tried to check on him.

But he pointed out in his words that time is an important factor, and in his last words he wrote, "A matter of time," before leaving four days later.
