(CNN) -- After the announcement of the decision to release his father on Wednesday, Mohammad, son of artist Fadl Shaker, shared a video message on the stories feature of his official Instagram account, expressing his happiness over the long-awaited news for his family.

Mohammad said: 'Praise be to God.. 13 years, injustice may last but it does not endure, and a message to everyone who is wronged: be optimistic about good, and God willing, He will relieve your distress.. A new journey has been written, and we are excited for what's to come.'

The Permanent Military Court in Lebanon decided on Wednesday to release artist Fadl Shaker in the 'four security cases filed against him,' including what is known as the 'Aabra file.'

The court decided to release Fadl Shaker 'in three cases against a financial bail of 100 million Lebanese pounds per file, and a bail of 200 million pounds for the Aabra file,' according to Lebanon's National News Agency. The total bail amount is approximately $3,350.

The file was presented to the 'Government Commissioner' at the military court, Judge Claude Ghannam, who 'reviewed and approved' the release of Fadl in 'the three cases, while he is still studying the Aabra file as to whether he will appeal it or not,' according to the National News Agency.
