"Cowboy" Enriches Taste of Asir Locals and Visitors
Achieving the principle and culture of the American "Cowboy" in the "Southwest", and striving to keep pace with the new entertainment culture that satisfies the taste of local and global consumers, and within a series of tourism and entertainment programs and events in Asir, the region's authority succeeded in creating an event inspired by traditional American "Cowboy" culture, characterized by its exciting classic design and reflecting the atmosphere of the old American West, to match the taste of local and global consumers with the diversity of tourism products, reaching the aspirations of Vision 2030.
This idea was designed to exploit several factors, including integrating the visual element and simulating classical Western architecture, using colors and wooden and metal details that characterize this building style. The town included buildings such as shops, restaurants, and service facilities, in addition to including many entertainment activities that suit the "Cowboy" culture and provide safe and diverse entertainment, such as horseback riding, shooting, children's houses, western dancing, horse shows, old sports competitions, as well as live theatrical performances at the "Cowboy" theater. It also included a group of restaurants offering traditional Western cuisine such as grilled steaks, in addition to this old town containing stores selling products such as gifts, clothes, and accessories. The site also witnessed a range of events such as live shows, puppets, and competitions that embody the identity and culture of the rural community.
