Najran, 25 Muharram 1448 AH, corresponding to July 10, 2026, SPA — The handicrafts corner at the "Khairat Najran" Festival, organized by the branch of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture in the Aba al-Saoud neighborhood next to the historic Emirate Palace, attracted festival visitors by presenting traditional works reflecting the depth of the region's cultural heritage. The corner includes specialized pavilions for traditional industries famous in Najran, such as al-Matrah, al-Jouna, al-Zabeel, al-Darajah, al-Makanis, al-Mahafat, al-Selal, al-Madhan, and other traditional products that artisans have excelled in manufacturing and weaving using remarkable artistic methods. A number of artisans stated that traditional products have seen widespread popularity inside and outside the region due to their high quality, durability, and beauty in craftsmanship, which has led to increasing demand from those interested in traditional products and craft collectibles, pointing out that their participation in exhibitions and festivals provides them with marketing opportunities to showcase their products and creations in traditional industries.
