Rafha 18 Muharram 1448 AH corresponding to 03 July 2026 SPA - The 'Lilmadi Athar' Museum in Rafha Governorate, licensed by the Museums Authority, houses more than 40 rare rifles representing successive historical periods, led by the 'Berno' and 'Canadian Sharfa' rifles, along with other models that reflect the evolution of weapons used in the region across different time periods. The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) observed during a tour of the museum a specialized section for rifles containing a variety of carefully preserved collectibles, most notably the 'Berno' rifle, which was widely used in the past in the Northern Borders Region, in addition to the 'Canadian Sharfa' rifle and a number of rare heritage rifles. The museum owner, Sayyah Qasim Al-Shammari, told SPA that these rifles were collected over years and represent multiple historical milestones, noting that the diversity of the museum's holdings reflects an aspect of the region's history and heritage, and offers visitors and researchers an opportunity to learn about models of weapons associated with the lives of previous generations. // End //20:23 T M 0107
