Hassan Shakoush Loses Appeal... 300,000 Pounds to His Ex-Wife
An Egyptian court upheld the ruling obligating Mahraganat singer Hassan Shakoush to pay 300,000 Egyptian pounds in alimony to his ex-wife Reem Tarek, in the latest development of the ongoing legal dispute between the two parties, making the ruling enforceable after the court upheld the initial verdict.
Confirmation of the Ruling
Reem Tarek's lawyer, Yasser Qantoush, explained in a statement that the court upheld the ruling in favor of his client, confirming that Hassan Shakoush is obligated to pay the alimony amount, joining this ruling to a series of rulings issued in the mutual cases between the two parties.
Previous Rulings
Hassan Shakoush had previously executed another final ruling, which ordered the payment of 950,000 Egyptian pounds as alimony for the waiting period and compensation to his ex-wife, after legal procedures including seizure of his bank accounts and some of his properties, before completing the full payment.
Artistic Activity
On the artistic front, Hassan Shakoush recently performed his first concert as part of the 'Mawazine 2026' festival in Morocco, in front of a large audience. During the concert, he appeared with the Moroccan flag on his shoulders, and thanked King Mohammed VI and the festival management, expressing his happiness at participating in one of the most prominent artistic festivals in the Arab world.
