Licenses Required for Recreational Activities

The Kingdom has approved the requirement to obtain prior licenses and permits for practicing a number of recreational activities, according to the Recreational Activities and Supporting Activities System.

Under the system, a license is required before practicing activities such as operating amusement parks and entertainment centers, without prejudice to any other licenses that may be imposed by relevant regulations. The system also requires obtaining a permit before holding recreational events, entertainment shows, and live performances, while adhering to all other relevant licenses and regulatory requirements.

The system aims to regulate the practice of recreational activities and establish a regulatory framework to ensure the improvement of service quality and enhance compliance with regulatory requirements, contributing to the development of the entertainment sector in the Kingdom.
