Tourism and Entertainment / Chairman of the Entertainment Authority Announces Details of Fight Card Accompanying 'The Comeback' Event in Jeddah, Jeddah, 28 Muharram 1448 AH corresponding to July 13, 2026 AD (SPA) - His Excellency the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Entertainment Authority (GEA) and President of the Saudi Boxing Federation, Advisor Turki bin Abdulmohsen Al-Sheikh, announced details of the fight card for 'The Comeback', which will be held on Saturday, July 25th in Jeddah, and will feature strong matchups for world titles. British Hamza Sheeraz defends the WBO super middleweight title against German Simon Zachenhuber, while British Josh Kelly puts the IBF light middleweight title on the line against undefeated Irishman Caoimhin Agyarko. The event is headlined by the anticipated main heavyweight fight between British Anthony Joshua and Albanian Kristian Prenga, as part of the Jeddah Calendar events in cooperation with Riyadh Season, and in partnership with Matchroom, Sela, and Gold Star, exclusively broadcast worldwide via DAZN. Josh Kelly enters the fight after winning the IBF title earlier this year following his victory over Russian boxer Bakhram Murtazaliev, while Agyarko gets his first chance to compete for a world title in his professional career, after an elimination fight scheduled earlier this year was canceled. Hamza Sheeraz returns to the ring after winning the WBO title in Egypt last May, making his first title defense against German Simon Zachenhuber, in one of the event's most prominent matchups. The card also features the return of Japanese boxer Rito Tsutsumi to the Kingdom after his impressive victory in the 'Samurai Night' event in Riyadh last December, as he faces Mexican Alvino Herrera, while Ukrainian Olympic gold medalist Oleksandr Khyzhniak makes his second professional fight against French Lenny Patrash. British Mikey Tallon makes his debut in the Kingdom against Venezuelan Orlando Pino, while Indian Nishant Dev, bronze medalist at the Paris 2024 Olympics, continues his professional career against Peruvian Cesar Diaz. The card also includes a fight between Polish Pawel August and Danish Jacob Bank, after August pulled off a notable surprise earlier by defeating Simon Zachenhuber despite entering the fight as a late replacement. On the local front, three of Saudi Arabia's top boxers return to the ring on home soil: Mohammed Al-Aqeel faces Maltese boxer Lyndon Chircop, Ziad Al-Maayouf meets Mexican Frank Mango, and Sultan Al-Mohammed fights Spanish Efren Balsaduch. The card also features Egyptian participation with Omar Heikal, who faces Spanish Bryan Castellano, and Mohamed Mabrouk, who meets Colombian Bryan Zapata, as they seek to continue progressing on the international scene. The fight week activities begin on Wednesday, July 22 with the 'Grand Arrival' event at Jeddah Yacht Club, followed by the press conference on Thursday, then the weigh-in on Friday at Jeddah Promenade, with all fight week activities broadcast live on DAZN.
