Dumat al-Jandal 1 Safar 1448 AH corresponding to July 15, 2026, SPA -- The Strategic Office for the Development of Al-Jouf Region today organized the Tourist Guides Forum, as part of its efforts to develop the tourism sector system in the region, enhance the efficiency of tourist guides, and support the targets of tourism development, contributing to improving the quality of services provided to visitors. The forum aims to enhance professional communication between tourist guides and relevant authorities, showcase opportunities and enablers in the sector, build partnerships, and enable guides to exchange expertise and experiences, supporting the development of the tourist guidance profession and raising the level of professional practice. The forum included specialized sessions that addressed best practices in tourist guidance, personal marketing, and tourism content creation, in addition to reviewing experiences and success stories of a number of guides, and discussing ways to enhance integration between government and private entities related to the tourism sector. The program also included a field visit to a number of archaeological sites in the region, which included practical applications aimed at developing the field skills of guides, improving the quality of performance, and enhancing their ability to provide a professional tourism experience that reflects the historical, cultural, and natural components of Al-Jouf Region. The organization of the forum comes as an extension of the efforts of the Strategic Office for the Development of Al-Jouf Region to develop the tourism sector, raise the efficiency of national cadres, and enhance integration among partners, contributing to improving the visitor experience and highlighting the tourism and cultural components that the region abounds in, in order to achieve the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030. // End // 19:38 T M 0155
