(CNN)-- Despite changing makeup trends from season to season, Egyptian singer Sherine Abdel Wahab sticks to a consistent beauty identity, preferring to highlight her natural features over adopting striking makeup.
According to Lebanese makeup artist Hala Ajam, Abdel Wahab knows exactly what suits her face and does not tend to change just to keep up with fashion.
Ajam revealed that the Egyptian singer constantly returns to old photos of herself during makeup sessions and asks to recreate the same looks, because she sees them as the closest version to the features she loves. She noted that her preferred makeup is based on correcting facial features and contouring in an invisible way, so that the skin looks more radiant without the makeup techniques themselves showing.

Ajam added in an interview with CNN Arabic that in the latest photoshoots, she sought to break the usual pattern. She worked with Lebanese photographer Mohamad Seif to convince Abdel Wahab to adopt the trend of snatched eyes.
She admitted that the task was not easy, especially since the singer of 'Ah Ya Leil' does not lean towards trending styles, but prefers the look she knows highlights her features, a style she found consistent with Ajam's vision.
The Lebanese makeup artist explained that the look varies depending on the occasion, while the beauty identity remains constant. In photoshoots, Abdel Wahab prefers soft features, fresh skin, rosy cheeks, and luminous touches that give her a more youthful appearance, away from strong or exaggerated makeup.
On stage, the makeup is adapted to suit the lighting and atmosphere while maintaining the same natural features.

As for the color palette she uses, it revolves around cool burgundy shades, gold, and shimmering beige on the eyelids, with the eyes defined in dark brown. On the skin, she prefers bronzer with pink blush and a soft, invisible contour that gives the face a feminine style, along with pink nude lips.
