The health system continues to solidify its presence on the international stage through an ongoing series of accreditations, awards, and certificates, achieving (4) international accreditations, (27) global awards, and more than (17) international certificates since the beginning of 2026. This reflects the development of institutional efficiency, service quality, and excellence according to the highest global standards, and embodies one of the fruits of the Health Sector Transformation Program under Saudi Vision 2030, which has laid advanced enablers to enhance the system's efficiency and global competitiveness. The international accreditations include the Ministry of Health, represented by the National Health Command and Control Center, obtaining accreditation as a Collaborating Center from the World Health Organization; the Saudi Center for Health Facilities Accreditation (CBAHI) also obtaining accreditation as a WHO Collaborating Center; the Health Insurance Council (Damman), represented by the Innovation Lab (Ebsar), obtaining accreditation as a Certified Laboratory from the Global Innovation Institute; and the Reference Laboratory in Dammam, affiliated with the Saudi Food and Drug Authority, obtaining international quality accreditation according to the ISO/IEC 17025 standard. Regarding global awards, the national health system won (19) medals and special awards at the 51st Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions 2026, after participating with (20) health inventions; the Ministry of Health won the Press Ganey Award for measuring beneficiary experience and evaluating health facility performance; the Health Holding Company won the Sterling International Collaboration Award for institutional excellence; Damman won the Gold Award from the MUSE Creative Awards; and (4) awards in the Gulf Customer Experience Awards. As for international certificates, the Ministry of Health branch in Najran obtained an ISO certificate in the field of artificial intelligence; the Saudi Red Crescent Authority obtained the Test Maturity Model Integration (TMMi) certificate; the Authority's branch in Asir region obtained an ISO certificate; Damman and the National Unified Procurement Company for Medical Supplies (NUPCO) obtained (13) ISO certificates in several areas, including information technology service management, business continuity, and information security; and the Health Holding Company obtained the Best Workplace certificate from the Great Place to Work organization. These achievements confirm the health system's continued building on its gains, enhancing the quality of health services, strengthening the Kingdom's position in international health indicators and forums, and establishing its place among the world's leading countries in the health field.
